Creativity that Goes Unseen
Unfortunately, folks with unusual intelligence or creativity are isolated too often by their giftedness.
Isolation can look like adoration, misunderstandings, or an easy deference. However, it still separates one from necessary human connections.
Every person needs a tribe for reflection, challenge, and validation across the entire life cycle.
How many gifts have gone unexpressed because they were birthed in unseeing circumstances?
Where are you still unseen?
Without pursuit, creativity cannot materialize.
Giftedness can create so many possibilities; but if none are pursued, life flounders.
Creativity is a funny animal. As it develops, it often changes its stripes, conceals its strengths, and confounds those looking for it.
To those of you who feel special: Are you all you want to be?
Stop and consider what life offers to the observant.
Sometimes intellectual shortcuts lead to missed developmental lessons in other parts of life.
Just because I am intelligent about game theory, doesn’t mean I know anything about fine art’s ability to capture the ineffable nature of truth and beauty.
We can express creativity in specific and novel ways. It also can be generative and associative.
